Movie Trivia Night Terms and Conditions
Event Name: Movie Trivia Night
Organizer: Good Earth Coffeehouse
Date: August 2nd 2025
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Good Earth Coffeehouse

By purchasing a ticket and participating in Movie Trivia Night, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Ticket Purchase and Admission
   • Tickets are priced at $5 each and must be purchased through TicketScene.
   • Each ticket is fully redeemable as a $5 coupon for food or drink purchases at Good Earth Coffeehouse during the event.
   • The $5 coupon is valid only on the event date and cannot be redeemed for cash or used for future visits.
   • Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizer.                                                                                        
2. Event Participation
   • Participants may compete individually or in teams, as outlined during the event.
   • All participants must adhere to the trivia rules provided by the event host on the night of the event.
   • The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant or team for inappropriate behavior, cheating, or failure to follow event rules.                                                                                                                                                                                        
3. Prizes
   • Prizes include:
     • Top Winner: One Scented Essences candle, one $10 Chapters gift card, and one $10 Good Earth gift card.
     • Second Place: One Scented Essences candle.
     • Third Place: One $10 Chapters gift card.
   • Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.
   • Prize distribution is at the discretion of the event host, based on trivia performance.                                                                        
4. Event Changes or Cancellation
   • The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
   • In case of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified via email and issued a full refund through TicketScene.
   • The organizer is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants (e.g., travel expenses).                                          
5. Liability
   • Participants attend the event at their own risk. Good Earth Coffeehouse is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the event.
   • Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.                                                                                                             
6. Code of Conduct
   • All attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, other participants, and the venue.
   • Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the event without a refund.                                                      
7. Photography and Promotion
   • By attending, participants consent to being photographed or recorded for promotional purposes by Good Earth Coffeehouse or its partners (e.g., Chapters, Halifax Noise).
   • Participants may opt out by notifying the event host in writing before the event.                                                                             
8. Food and Drink
   • Food and drink purchases are subject to Good Earth Coffeehouse’s standard menu and pricing.
   • The $5 ticket coupon cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.
